Wow, I haven't uploaded a marker piece in over six months. That's a little upsetting, then again, they never look good on the computer. 8|
Characters: These three are major characters (and sky pirates since I never upload them) in Final Arcanum that are introduced a little further on. From right to left, they are Selence Kite, Astron McDowel, and Zero, all from the ship Acacitli's from, the Eurydice.
Kite is your typical tomboy, I'll-punch-you-in-the-face-if-you-call-me-by-my-first-name type whose plaid cloth-skirt-thing I need to draw better next time. Astron is a mechanic and uh... he's a little out there, so to speak, so good luck having a decent conversation with him. He likes to take things apart though. Zero, who refuses to give anyone his real name, is technically not a pirate, though he lives on the Eurydice. He's a mercenary, sniper to be specific, who doesn't have any qualms with where his money comes from, he just isn't going to do the actual stealing. He's also best friends with Acacitli, even though he rarely calls Acacitli by his name, preferring to just call him "kid" which never fails to frustrate Acacitli.
Uhh... I still have to figure out when exactly I'm writing them in. ._.;
I feel your pain concerning markers >.< Might I ask what type of paper you use? I have some lovely graphics paper that's specifically for markers, but it's so pricey that I prefer to save it for really special pictures, so I've been looking for an alternative for more casual art. And tomboys are FUN. Also, your mechanic wouldn't be a good mechanic if he wasn't at least slightly crazy, right? XD
Normally, I just stick with a heavier-grade paper, but this was actually done on cardstock. I just think I'll a fancy scanner sometime. In the way way future.
ooooh marker o___O I wish I could get over my fear of using mine xDDD The marker on the jeans looks especially nifty.
Awesome designs! Their personalities come across loud and clear. I think Astron's my favorite though. He looks crazy 8D

My favorite part of this is Zero's mouth. Seriously, that was the first thing I noticed. I love it so, so much. I would very much like it on me. :0
This looked great as a work in progress, and it came out fantastic. I miss your marker pieces. Even the simple ones are wonderful.
Also, I studied the title for like, 8 minutes trying to figure out if there was a hidden message.
